Sciatica

Sciatica is irritation/compression of the nerve. Symptoms include lower back pain, buttock pain, numbness in some parts of leg and foot. Sciatica is diagnosed by physical examination and history of symptoms. Spinal disc herniation, spinal stenosis, Piriformis syndrome and pregnancy can be different causes of sciatica. It is common that medication won’t help in most cases, especially NSAIDS do not appear to help acute Sciatica.
